MINA — The General Directorate of Passports has deployed field teams in Makkah and the holy sites to identify inpatients and lost pilgrims during the Hajj days.

The teams are tasked to identify inpatients in hospitals and healthcare centers in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, as well as to identify lost individuals in coordination with the Nusuk Care initiative under the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

The directorate said the teams are equipped with modern mobile technologies to support relevant authorities in verifying the identities of patients and lost individuals at their locations. Reports are received through the Hajj and Umrah command and control center at its headquarters in Makkah.
