KATHMANDU — A Saudi plane, carrying relief supplies, landed in Kathmandu, capital of Nepal, on Wednesday. This is in implementation of the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

A specialized team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) will coordinate aid distribution with relevant local authorities to ensure it reaches people affected by the recent floods that struck Nepal, causing significant loss of life and property damage.

Saudi Ambassador to Nepal Fahd bin Mnikhr stated that this support reflects the Kingdom’s commitment, under the directives of its wise leadership, to stand with friendly nations to alleviate the humanitarian impact of natural disasters. He added that the initiative highlights the Kingdom’s leading role in bolstering international humanitarian efforts.

This assistance is part of the relief support extended by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to those in need, embodying the noble humanitarian role the Kingdom plays toward friendly nations during crises and emergencies.
