RIYADH — France joined several Arab and Islamic countries and organizations in condemning the repeated attacks launched by the Houthi militias against Saudi Arabia.

In a statement, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs expressed France’s full solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for the Kingdom’s efforts to defend its territory and infrastructure against these attacks. The statement called on the Houthi militia to immediately cease its attacks and provocations, which further destabilize the region and exacerbate the suffering of the Yemeni people.

Egypt has strongly condemned the attacks targeting the territory of Saudi Arabia, including Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport of Riyadh that resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. In a statement issued today, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the escalation and attacks against the Kingdom’s territory threaten its security and destabilize the wider region.

The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the attacks carried out by the Houthi militia on Saudi Arabia. In a statement the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the attacks constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a threat to its security and stability. The ministry affirmed the UAE’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all efforts aimed at preserving the Kingdom’s security and stability.

Syria, Bahrain, and Jordan also condemned, in the strongest terms, the recent attacks launched by the Houthi militia against vital facilities and civilian assets in Saudi Arabia.

The Arab League strongly condemned the continued attacks by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia. In a statement, the Arab League stressed that targeting civil aviation facilities and endangering the lives of passengers and workers constitutes a highly dangerous escalation, a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty, and a clear breach of international law and the UN Charter. It warned of the danger of the continued attacks, their widening scope, and the repeated targeting of civilian and vital facilities.

The Arab League renewed its full solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for Saudi Arabia in confronting any attacks targeting its security, stability and sovereignty, as well as the safety of its citizens and residents. It reiterated that the Kingdom’s security is an integral part of Arab national security.

The General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers Council strongly condemned the Houthi terrorist attacks targeting Riyadh and Abha airports. The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the continued criminal aggression by the terrorist Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia.

In a statement, MWL Secretary General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Mohammed Al-Issa reiterated his condemnation of these heinous terrorist attacks.

President of the Arab Parliament Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi stressed that repeated terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia and its civilian and oil facilities pose a direct threat to regional security. During his speech at the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Arusha, Tanzania, Al-Yamahi addressed Iranian attacks that targeted several Arab countries and threatened civilians, infrastructure, and vital facilities.
