RIYADH — The Ministry of Health has launched a campaign to ensure the reliability of medical examinations conducted for expatriate workers, warning that violations may incur fines of up to SR100,000.

The initiative aims to enhance healthcare quality, ensure the accuracy of medical examination results, strengthen compliance with approved health regulations, and safeguard public health.

The campaign focuses on verifying adherence to approved examination procedures, ensuring laboratory equipment is properly calibrated and maintained, confirming the competency of technical staff, and preventing practices that could compromise the integrity of test results.

Violations may also result in the closure of a healthcare facility for up to 60 days or the revocation of its license.

The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing oversight and inspection efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and to protect public health.
