The Nonprofit Cultural Sector Forum, organized by the Ministry of Culture at the King Fahad Cultural Center in Riyadh, witnessed the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) among several government entities, nonprofit cultural associations, universities, and private sector entities. This comes as part of efforts to strengthen partnerships, empower nonprofit cultural organizations, and support sustainability pathways in the cultural sector.

The signed agreements and MoUs covered a range of areas, including supporting university student clubs, developing the visual arts, empowering translation, supporting theater and performing arts, as well as preserving and developing architectural heritage. They also included enhancing academic and research collaboration and developing joint programs in the fields of culture and the arts.

Among these agreements, the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission signed an agreement with the Student Clubs Association to support university student clubs under the Madeed initiative. Meanwhile, the Translation Association (SATA) signed memoranda of understanding with a number of academic and cultural entities. Cooperation agreements were also signed between the Theater and Performing Arts Association and educational and cultural entities to support cultural content, develop training programs, and empower professionals in these fields. In addition, the Visual Arts Commission signed agreements with specialized associations to support artistic programs and qualitative initiatives in this sector.
