RIYADH — The Ministry of Interior emphasized that individual employers, who allow their employees to work for others or for their own personal benefit, will be slapped with a maximum fine of SR100,000 and imprisonment for up to six months, in addition to a ban on recruiting workers for up to five years.
The ministry called on employers and employees to fully adhere to residency, labor, and border security regulations. It urged the public to report violations by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
