    Saudi FM welcomes US-Iran deal in call with Iranian FM, reaffirms push for lasting peace

    RIYADH — Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan received a phone call from his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, to discuss the latest agreement between Iran and the US and efforts to achieve lasting stability.

    During the call, the Prince expressed the Kingdom’s welcome of the agreement reached between Iran and the United States to end military operations and begin detailed negotiations aimed at reaching a lasting agreement.

    The Prince also expressed the Kingdom’s aspiration for the achievement of peace that enhances the security of the region and the world.

    In addition, the two ministers reviewed the latest regional developments and discussed the importance of continuing joint efforts to achieve lasting stability and sustainable peace.
