    Saudi Embassy in Italy warns against online tourism scams

    ROME — The Saudi Embassy in Italy warned against tourism scams through social media platforms. The embassy urged Saudi citizens to deal only with official and accredited tourist companies.

    The embassy warned against dealing with unlicensed individuals or companies that promote their services to tourists and visitors through social media platforms. It called on citizens, who wish to visit Italy, to make all bookings for accommodation, transportation, and tours through official and accredited companies.

    The embassy also warned Saudi tourists and visitors against dealing with unlicensed individuals or companies that promote their services through social media platforms, in order to protect their rights and avoid any problems or scams.
