    Saudi Arabia condemns terrorist attack on Niamey airport in Niger

    RIYADH — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation of the terrorist attack on Niamey International Airport in the capital of Niger, resulting in several deaths and injuries.

    Saudi Arabia expressed its solidarity with the government and people of Niger, emphasizing its firm stance against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, regardless of motive. The Kingdom also offered its condolences to the families of the victims and its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.

    Thirty-five people have been killed after gunmen struck Niger’s largest airport on Thursday, and the fatalities comprised 22 assailants, 11 soldiers, and two civilians.
