ARAFAT — The Saudi Ministry of Health has urged Hajj pilgrims to remain inside their camps and avoid going outdoors until 4 PM on the Day of Arafat. This is to prevent direct exposure to sunlight and extreme heat, thereby reducing the risk of heat exhaustion and sunstroke.

The ministry emphasized the importance of adhering to designated pilgrims’ dispatching schedules, using umbrellas regularly, and drinking plenty of water and fluids to maintain hydration. It also stressed avoiding climbing hills and ensuring adequate rest during the rituals, helping pilgrims reduce the risk of heat-related illnesses and perform their rituals in good health and peace of mind.
