The King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), in partnership with the Research, Development and Innovation Authority (RDIA), announced today the opening of registration for the Deep Tech Commercialization Bootcamp, targeting research teams across the Kingdom that have prototypes or advanced technologies ready for testing and commercialization. Registration will remain open until April 29, 2026.
The bootcamp will take place at The Garage in Riyadh from May 3 to 5, 2026. It is designed to support researchers and innovators by providing an enabling environment and equipping them with the tools and skills needed to turn their innovation projects into successful investment-ready ventures. The program will also help participants address the commercialization challenges associated with deep technologies and channel innovation toward supporting national development priorities.
This bootcamp is part of KACST’s broader efforts to empower research teams and accelerate the transition of research-based innovations into commercially viable products with tangible economic impact in the market. It also contributes to advancing the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by supporting economic diversification and fostering the growth of deep tech-based enterprises.
KACST invited eligible research teams to register for the bootcamp to strengthen their capabilities in areas such as market assessment, business model development, and technology transfer and licensing strategies, with the aim of accelerating the growth of deep tech startups, through the following link: https://survey.kacst.gov.sa/survey?sId=DfmquLcL5JA=.
