Tunisian rescue teams recovered four bodies after a boat carrying irregular migrants sank off the coast of Ben Guerdane in southeastern Tunisia, while search operations continued for the remaining missing persons.
Tunisian National Guard spokesperson Houssem Eddine Jebabli said one survivor was rescued after the boat began taking on water about 14 nautical miles off the coast and sank.
Coast guard and civil protection units continued search operations for the missing persons.
