Dubai — e&, in collaboration with the Federal Youth Authority (FYA), marked World Youth Skills Day 2026 with a dedicated youth activation as part of Summer Camp 2026. The initiative was designed to help young people build skills for the future, exchange knowledge and connect with leaders and peers.

Aligned with this year’s global theme, “Skills for a Shared Future”, the activation reflects e&’s continued focus on youth development, inclusion and meaningful community engagement. It features a recently concluded physical workshop and an upcoming virtual session, creating accessible opportunities for young people to learn, participate and collaborate.

The activation also supported the objectives of the UAE’s National Youth Agenda 2031 by equipping young people with practical capabilities and creating platforms that enable them to participate meaningfully in the country’s digital and knowledge-based economy.

The physical session, held as an Emerging Leaders Workshop at e&’s Alkifaf Innovation Centre, brought together a focused group of youth participants for an interactive learning experience. The session included an inspirational leadership talk, a youth leadership coaching workshop and a tour of the AI retail store. The upcoming virtual session will extend the reach of the activation to a wider youth audience, enabling more participants to engage with the programme and benefit from practical insights, peer exchange and future-focused discussions.

Mohammad Harib AlFalahi, Chief Corporate Services Officer, e&, said: “Young people are shaping the next chapter of our digital future, and it is our responsibility to create spaces where they can learn, connect and grow with confidence. Through our World Youth Skills Day activation, we are helping youth gain practical knowledge, develop leadership skills and explore the opportunities emerging from AI, technology and new ways of working.

“By bringing together learning, mentorship and open dialogue, we aim to support a generation that is ready to contribute to more inclusive, innovative, and sustainable communities.”

He added: “By joining forces with partners such as the Federal Youth Authority, we are able to scale our efforts and co-create an environment where young talents can truly thrive. Together, we are bridging the gap between academic learning and practical digital leadership, empowering the next generation to shape a shared, digitally driven future.”

The initiative builds on e&’s wider efforts to empower youth through learning, dialogue and access to future skills. e& has been focused on several youth-focused initiatives, including the launch of the Youth Academy with GoLearning, offering access to more than 200 courses in AI, data science, cybersecurity, sustainability and entrepreneurship. It supports future-ready skills, ethical awareness and responsible leadership, while helping build a pipeline of capable future leaders.

The group also held youth debate sessions, global youth talks, an AI summer camp with the Emirates Federal Youth Authority and a youth outreach campaign.

This year e& continues to strengthen inclusion by supporting women, youth and People of Determination, while advancing accessibility across physical, digital and communication environments. These efforts align with e&’s strategy to cultivate a future-ready workforce and create an organisation that leads with inclusion across the markets where it operates.
