JEDDAH — High dust-stirring surface winds are forecast to affect much of Saudi Arabia’s western coast from July 16 to 25, according to the National Center for Meteorology (NCM).
Based on an animated map issued by the NCM, starting Thursday, July 16, and continuing through the end of next week (July 25), dust-stirring winds are expected along the coastal road stretching from Yanbu to Jazan.
Their effects are also expected to extend eastward into parts of the Makkah and Madinah regions, potentially reducing horizontal visibility to near zero.
