RIYADH — The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has thwarted an attempt to smuggle 6.2 kilograms of hashish through the Al-Wadiah border crossing after the narcotics were discovered hidden inside a vehicle entering the Kingdom. ZATCA spokesman Hamoud Al-Harbi said the drugs were detected during inspection procedures and were concealed inside metal cans containing food products. Following the seizure, ZATCA coordinated with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control to identify and arrest the intended recipient inside Saudi Arabia, Al-Harbi said. LOS ANGELES —Police have arrested the son of actor James Handy’s girlfriend over the actor’s death after he was found stabbed in the chest in Los Angeles, authorities said on Thursday. RAMALLAH — Israeli troopsshot dead an 18-year-old Palestinian in the occupied West Bank on Fiday, the Palestinian health ministry said Friday. The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) central kitchen continued distributing hot meals in the Gaza Strip as part of the Saudi campaign to provide relief for the Palestinian people in the Strip.  The kitchen has distributed 24,500 hot meals to the most vulnerable groups in the central and southern Gaza Strip, benefiting 24,500 individuals.  These efforts come within the framework of the humanitarian role carried out by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people and support affected families amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
