The dialysis center at Banadir Hospital in Mogadishu in the Federal Republic of Somalia continued providing medical services to beneficiaries with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

During March, the center received 355 patients. Of these, 165 patients underwent 1,057 scheduled dialysis sessions and 11 emergency sessions.

Meanwhile, 190 patients received consultations and medical examinations at the nephrology clinic.

Males accounted for 65% of beneficiaries, while females represented 35%. Internally displaced persons accounted for 5%, residents for 94%, and refugees for 1% of the total.

This comes as part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian projects, carried out through KSrelief, to strengthen the healthcare sector and alleviate the suffering of the Somali people.
