RIYADH — The Ministry of Justice and the Public Prosecution signed a memorandum of cooperation to enhance training and exchange expertise between the two entities.

The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Minister of Justice Dr. Walid Al-Samaani and Attorney General and Head of the Public Prosecution Council Dr. Khalid Al-Yousef at the Public Prosecution headquarters in Riyadh on Tuesday.

The memorandum aims to enhance joint cooperation and develop business procedures between the two entities, contributing to enhanced performance efficiency and improved service quality.

The memorandum aims to support cooperation in the areas of training, research, development, and innovation, as well as to exchange expertise and knowledge on topics of mutual interest. This will contribute to developing the professional skills of judges, members of the Public Prosecution, and legal professionals on both sides. It will also enhance procedural integration through electronic linking and system integration.

This memorandum is an extension of the institutional integration efforts between the Ministry of Justice and Public Prosecution, apart from supporting the development of the judicial system and raising the efficiency of its outputs, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
