RIYADH — The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has urged private sector establishments employing 50 or more workers to disclose their training data through the Qiwa platform before the January 31, 2027 deadline. The ministry stressed that disclosure is mandatory for all establishments covered by the decision, irrespective of whether they have implemented training programs for their employees or not.

The ministry clarified that establishments that have implemented training programs must disclose the number of trainees, the programs conducted, the number of training hours, and the associated costs. Establishments that have not implemented any training programs are also required to disclose this fact.

However, such disclosure does not exempt them from fulfilling their legally mandated training obligations.

The ministry revealed that the proportion of private sector establishments disclosing their training data exceeded 53 percent in 2025, compared with more than 38 percent in 2024. This progress reflects ongoing efforts to establish a unified national database that will contribute to the development of training policies and enhance workforce efficiency.

The ministry indicated that the disclosed data had helped support several initiatives, most notably cooperative training, which benefited more than 120,000 students by the end of 2025. The data also contributed to the decision requiring covered establishments to train graduates and job seekers at a rate of two percent of their total workforce.

The ministry emphasized that disclosing training data is intended to promote investment in skills development, align training programs with labor market needs, and enhance workforce productivity and preparedness, thereby advancing the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
