Manish Bakshi, Managing Director of BenQ Middle East, explores how AI-powered interactive displays are transforming enterprise collaboration through intelligent conferencing, enhanced security and smarter workplace experiences.

The modern meeting room is being asked to do far more than display a presentation. From hybrid meetings and executive briefings to collaborative brainstorming and technical reviews, businesses need technology that helps teams share ideas, access information securely and turn discussions into actionable outcomes.

As organisations across the Middle East accelerate their adoption of AI and hybrid workplace technologies, the enterprise Interactive Display is evolving from a passive screen into an active collaboration hub.

Addressing this shift, BenQ Middle East has introduced the BenQ Board CP05, BenQ’s most advanced meeting display to date. Designed for corporate meeting rooms, executive boardrooms and hybrid collaboration spaces, the CP05 combines Edge AI, intelligent conferencing, enterprise security and professional visual performance in one solution.

Available in 55-inch and 75-inch models across the Middle East, the BenQ Board CP05 is engineered for diverse corporate settings and industries, helping organisations create more intuitive, productive and engaging meeting experiences.

“Businesses across the Middle East are accelerating investments in AI-driven workplace technologies to support hybrid work and smarter collaboration”, said Manish Bakshi, Managing Director of BenQ Middle East. “The BenQ Board CP05 is designed to empower enterprises with a secure and intelligent Interactive Display solution that combines AI innovation, enterprise performance and effortless collaboration in one platform”.

Edge AI: Smarter meetings, greater privacy

At the heart of the BenQ Board CP05 is a dedicated 10 TOPS Neural Processing Unit (NPU) powered by MediaTek AI architecture. By processing supported AI workloads directly on the device, Edge AI enables responsive performance while helping reduce external data exposure during sensitive corporate discussions.

The CP05 supports AI-powered capabilities including real-time meeting transcription, handwriting recognition, gesture control, image analysis and content optimisation. These capabilities help teams interact with information more naturally while reducing the manual work associated with documenting and managing meetings.

A key innovation is SummarAI, which records meeting audio, converts conversations into text and automatically generates concise summaries for post-meeting review. Users can also capture important on-screen content and meeting moments, making it easier to document discussions and streamline follow-ups.

Additional built-in AI tools include Ask AI for quick answers, Lasso Search for discovering information related to on-screen content, and Circle to Artify, which transforms notes and sketches into enhanced visual creations. Together, these features bring AI assistance directly into the meeting workflow.

    A more immersive collaboration experience

Effective hybrid meetings require more than a reliable video connection. Every participant needs to be seen, heard and included in the discussion.

The BenQ Board CP05 features a built-in 50MP AI camera with a 160-degree field of view, helping capture participants across different meeting-room layouts. AI Gallery View intelligently frames participants, while AI voice tracking and gesture-based camera controls help focus attention on active speakers and simplify conferencing.

An eight-microphone array with a pickup range of up to 12 metres works alongside a 90W 2.1-channel audio system. Speech enhancement, automatic gain control, AI-powered reverb and noise cancellation, and dynamic audio equalisation help deliver clearer conversations with fewer distractions.

For in-room collaboration, advanced projected capacitive (PCAP) touch technology provides responsive, precise multi-touch interaction. The included Active Pen supports natural handwriting, quick annotations, navigation and presentation control, allowing users to interact directly with content rather than relying exclusively on a connected laptop.

BenQ EZWrite and InstaShare 2 further enable teams to annotate documents, exchange ideas and wirelessly share entire screens or individual applications across compatible devices. USB-C connectivity simplifies setup by supporting screen sharing, laptop charging and touch control through a single connection.

Professional colour accuracy for diverse industries

In corporate environments, visual accuracy can be critical to decision-making. Design teams need faithful colour reproduction, engineers need to examine fine details, and financial professionals need to review information clearly.

The BenQ Board CP05 is Pantone Validated and Pantone SkinTone Validated, offering professional colour reproduction with 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. Its specialised display modes are designed to support different professional workflows, including:

    • Pantone mode: Accurate reproduction of Pantone colours and calibrated skin tones.
    • M-book mode: Optimised colour presentation for MacBook users.
    • High-detail mode: Enhanced contrast for technical drawings, schematics, blueprints and detailed content.
    • DICOM mode: High-detail medical image viewing for training and educational applications; not intended for medical diagnosis.
    • ePaper mode: A grayscale viewing experience suited to text-heavy tasks such as reviewing contracts and financial documents.

This versatility makes the BenQ Board CP Series Interactive Display suitable for executive presentations, creative workflows, engineering reviews, financial dashboards and other information-intensive environments.

Secure access and simpler meeting-room management

As meeting rooms become more connected to corporate systems, security, personalisation and IT oversight are increasingly important.

The BenQ Board CP05 supports multi-user login through NFC and QR codes, allowing employees to access personalised settings, cloud storage, signed-in websites and application shortcuts. BenQ’s Account Management System (AMS) and directory synchronisation help simplify account provisioning, while the Device Management Solution (DMS) supports centralised monitoring and remote device management.

The integrated MeetingRoom system allows users to check room schedules and manage meeting reservations directly from the display, helping organisations coordinate room usage and simplify everyday meeting logistics.

With Google EDLA certification, users can also access compatible work applications through Google Play. These capabilities help integrate the BenQ Board into the broader enterprise IT environment, reducing setup friction for employees while giving IT teams greater control over deployed devices.

Completing the experience, the CP05 features a sophisticated white finish and premium metal-mesh design that complements executive boardrooms, innovation hubs and contemporary corporate interiors.

The next generation of enterprise collaboration

The future of the meeting room will not be defined simply by the size of its display. It will depend on how quickly teams can start working, how naturally they can collaborate, how effectively AI can support their workflows and how confidently IT teams can manage the technology behind them.

By bringing Edge AI, intelligent video conferencing, responsive touch, professional colour accuracy, personalised access and meeting-room management into one platform, the BenQ Board CP05 addresses these evolving enterprise requirements.

For organisations navigating hybrid work and increasingly AI-enabled workflows, the Interactive Display is becoming more than a place to present information. It is becoming an integral part of the digital workplace.

With the BenQ Board CP05, the meeting room can become a space where ideas develop, decisions take shape and collaboration moves forward.
