King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSH) has won the Gold Stevie Award for Human Resources Department of the Year at the 2026 International Business Awards, along with two Bronze Stevie Awards.
The three Stevie Awards included a Gold for KFSH’s human capital transformation, a Bronze for its approach to recruitment and onboarding, which supported the onboarding of 1,136 employees with a 96% satisfaction rate, and a second Bronze in the Most Innovative Human Resources Initiative category for a model linking employee and leadership performance with team results and broader institutional performance.
Chief People Officer at KFSH Majid Almegil said: “The value of human capital is reflected in an organization’s readiness to execute its priorities by having the talent, capabilities and leadership required to deliver them. Every strategic priority requires the human capability to support it, and the closer the alignment between the two, the stronger the organization’s ability to execute and sustain its performance.”
These awards reflect KFSH’s ongoing investment in its human capital function, focused on building capabilities, developing leaders, strengthening the work environment, and aligning human capital practices with clinical and research priorities to support institutional performance and long-term growth.
The Stevie Awards, established in 2002 to recognize the achievements and positive contributions of organizations worldwide, are among the world’s leading business awards. Winners are selected by judging panels of executives, entrepreneurs, innovators and academics from across the globe, who assess entries based on organizational practices and results.
King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center has been ranked first in the Middle East and Africa and 12th globally among the world’s top 250 academic medical centers for 2026. It was also recognized as the most valuable healthcare brand in the Kingdom and the Middle East for 2026, according to Brand Finance, and listed by Newsweek among the World’s Best Hospitals, World’s Best Smart Hospitals, and World’s Best Specialized Hospitals for 2026.
