RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Sudan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mohieldin Salem Ahmed Ibrahim signed a document establishing the Saudi-Sudanese Coordination Council in a ceremony held at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh on Monday.

The council will serve as an effective institutional platform for developing and strengthening bilateral relations and as an institutional framework bringing together relevant entities from both sides to work toward tangible outcomes.
