The death toll from the earthquake that struck eastern Indonesia on Saturday has risen to 38, the country’s National Disaster Mitigation Agency reported.
Agency Chief Suharyanto stated during a press conference that 38 fatalities, two serious injuries, and 11 minor injuries have been confirmed, while approximately 2,000 residents have evacuated the affected area.
