    911 centers receive 2.7 million calls in July

    RIYADH — The unified emergency number 911 received more than 2.73 million calls across Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and the Eastern Province during July 2026, the National Center for Security Operations said.

    The Unified Security Operations Centers handled a total of 2,733,359 calls during the month, receiving emergency reports and directing them to the relevant security and service authorities.

    Riyadh recorded the highest number of calls at 1,129,908, followed by Makkah with 847,929 and the Eastern Province with 514,984.

    The Madinah region recorded 240,538 calls during the same period.

    The centers operate around the clock using advanced automated systems and specialized multilingual personnel to receive calls and rapidly coordinate responses with the appropriate authorities.
