    Tuwaiq Academy, Alinma Bank Conclude Second ‘AMAD Hackathon’

    Tuwaiq Academy, in partnership with Alinma Bank, concluded the second edition of the AMAD Hackathon, the Kingdom’s largest fintech hackathon, which was held over three days at The Garage in Riyadh from July 16 to 18.

     The event attracted more than 6,000 participants, both in person and remotely, with the aim of developing fintech solutions and innovations using the latest technologies across various sectors.

     Tuwaiq Academy CEO Abdulaziz Alhammadi affirmed the academy’s commitment to developing national talent through its camps, programs, activities, and technology competitions, including the AMAD Hackathon, which achieved notable success in its second edition.

     He said the event attracted more than 6,000 participants, both in person and remotely, and more than 2,800 teams from across Saudi Arabia. The teams submitted more than 2,800 innovative fintech projects across six tracks aligned with the latest technological advances and aimed at fostering a promising new generation of tech talent.

     The second edition of the AMAD Hackathon built on the success of its inaugural event, further promoting innovation and empowering tech talent through tracks covering generative AI for fintech, customer experience, financial literacy, open banking, gamification, and financial regulation. The event contributed to sustainable impact across the financial sector.
