Abha International Airport, operated by Cluster2 Airports, achieved a new global milestone by ranking first worldwide in its category for on-time performance in June 2026, recording an on-time departure rate of 93.84%, according to a report issued by Cirium, a global specialist in monitoring and analyzing airline and airport performance and operations.
The achievement reflects the airport’s continued progress in operational efficiency and passenger service enhancements, in line with the objectives of the Aviation Program. It also reinforces Abha International Airport’s position as one of the Kingdom’s key hub airports supporting the rapid growth of tourism in Aseer Region.
