    Expat remittances jump 16% to SR14.7 billion in April

    RIYADH — Remittances of expatriates in Saudi Arabia recorded an increase of 16 percent in April 2026, reaching SR14.65 billion, compared to the same period in 2025.

    Data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) showed that foreign remittances in April decreased by approximately SR2.3 billion or 13 percent compared to March 2026.

    The data also noted that remittances from Saudis abroad rose by one percent in April compared to the same period in 2025, reaching SR5.5 billion.
