King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Masam project for clearing landmines in Yemen removed 798 mines during the first week of June 2026 across various regions of the country, including six anti-tank mines, 11 anti-personnel mines, and 781 unexploded ordnances.
The total number of explosives cleared since the launch of the project has reached 565,137. These explosives had been planted indiscriminately across Yemeni territories, posing a threat to civilian lives.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, continues its efforts to clear Yemeni lands of mines, contributing to civilian safety and enabling the Yemeni people to live in dignity and security.
