As part of early preparations for the 1447 AH Hajj season, the Ministry of Health continues to strengthen its digital healthcare ecosystem by expanding virtual medical services.
The initiative aims to improve the quality of healthcare provided to pilgrims and enhance the efficiency of medical responses in line with the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030.
Seha Virtual Hospital supports the healthcare system with a comprehensive package of virtual medical services that improve diagnostic efficiency, accelerate response times, and help pilgrims access care without the need to travel.
The services include supporting medical diagnoses through virtual radiology technologies and artificial intelligence-powered medical image analysis, enabling the issuance of accurate and immediate reports that support clinical decision-making.
The hospital also provides advanced remote stroke diagnosis services, contributing to faster medical intervention and reducing complications.
The ministry further offers multiple channels for immediate medical consultations around the clock through the unified call center (937) and digital platforms, ensuring timely healthcare access and helping reduce pressure on healthcare facilities in the holy sites.
These efforts are part of an integrated digital healthcare ecosystem aimed at enhancing the pilgrim’s health experience through flexible and accessible services that address the needs of large crowds while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety during Hajj rituals.
The integration between advanced technologies and field healthcare services reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to providing a sophisticated model for managing healthcare during mass gatherings, underscoring its care for pilgrims and readiness to ensure a safe and healthy Hajj season.
