RIYADH — Eleven civilians were injured in the southern Saudi region of Najran following Houthi terrorist attacks on Thursday, Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki said on Friday.

Al-Maliki said the injured included seven Saudi citizens, among them a woman and a 4-year-old child who suffered second-degree burns, as well as a Yemeni resident, two Egyptian residents and a Pakistani resident.

The coalition said the Houthi militia carried out the attacks using indiscriminate projectiles against civilian objects, describing the assaults as a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and its customary rules through the deliberate targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure.

Al-Maliki stressed that the Joint Forces Command of the coalition would continue taking deterrent measures against such attacks to ensure the protection of civilians.
